Thus concludes 4 years of prowling the underground, searching out the origin of the moral rot that has this world in a perpetual spiral. 4 years turning and turning in the widening gyre with only sporadic transmissions to HQ: Live from Soldier Field, Live from the Gutter, Live at Sad Moth, OH FUCK I HAVE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE, 2 Crazy to die/ 2 fucked up to live. Broken turntables, frayed cables, pounds of loud, irreparable psychic damage and for what? There are no answers, there is no center to hold--the underground is a rhizome that Tecate is too fried to understand. So they fled, their research complete, to return to the world of the waking.

Culled from particularly lucid sessions recorded in various locales with differing configurations, and assembled in one frantic quarantined night, Business as Usual is Tecate’s highest effort output to date, a fact that is in no way reflected in the music. Like the alcohol fire that engulfed the first Tecate recording space, these tracks burn bright, tickling the ceiling with their power, then disappear entirely, gone but never forgotten.
